How to Manage Your GoHighLevel Sub-Account Directly From Google Antigravity

If you use GoHighLevel, you already know that there are many things you do again and again.

Finding contacts.

Updating contact details.

Checking opportunities.

Looking at calendars.

Adding tags.

Moving data from one place to another.

Now imagine doing these things by simply telling an AI what you want.

That is what this GoHighLevel + Google Antigravity starter makes possible.

You can connect your GoHighLevel sub-account to Google Antigravity and manage your CRM from the Antigravity chat.

You can ask it to find contacts, create contacts, check pipelines, look at appointments, or even write custom scripts for your GoHighLevel account.

What is this?

I built a small starter project that connects a GoHighLevel sub-account with Google Antigravity.

It uses the GoHighLevel API and a Private Integration Token.

The setup is made for one GoHighLevel sub-account.

Once you connect your account, Antigravity can use the project to communicate with your GoHighLevel account.

You do not need to build the API connection from scratch.

You just add two things:

  • Your GoHighLevel Private Integration Token
  • Your GoHighLevel Location ID

Then you can start working with your account.

How does it work?

The idea is pretty simple.

Your GoHighLevel account has your CRM data.

Google Antigravity is the AI assistant.

The starter project sits between them.

When you ask Antigravity to do something, it uses the GoHighLevel API to perform the task.

For example:

“Fetch my last 10 contacts and show their names, emails, and phone numbers.”

Antigravity can use the project to request that data from GoHighLevel and show it to you.

You can also ask it to create or update data.

For example:

“Create a new contact named Alex Mercer, email alex@example.com, and add the tag website-lead.”

The goal is simple: you work with your GoHighLevel account using natural language instead of writing API requests yourself.

What can you do with it?

The starter already includes several common GoHighLevel actions.

1. Manage contacts

You can list your contacts, search for a contact, create a new contact, update a contact, or delete one.

For example:

“Find the contact with the email customer@example.com.”

Or:

“Create a new contact named John Doe with this email and phone number.”

You can also update contact information and tags.

2. Check your sales pipeline

You can ask Antigravity to show your pipelines and stages.

For example:

“List all my pipelines and show me the opportunities currently in each stage.”

This can be useful when you want a quick view of your CRM data without clicking through multiple screens.

3. Check appointments

You can also work with your GoHighLevel booking calendars.

For example:

“List all booking calendars in my sub-account and check if there are appointments scheduled for this week.”

4. Work with tags and custom fields

You can also list the tags and custom fields in your sub-account.

This is useful when you are building automations or working with a large CRM.

5. Write custom scripts

This is where things get more interesting.

Because the project is a Node.js application, you can ask Antigravity to write code that works with your GoHighLevel account.

For example:

“Write a script that syncs a list of leads from a CSV file into GoHighLevel contacts.”

You can then review and run the code from the same project.

How to connect your GoHighLevel account

You only need two credentials.

1. Your Location ID

First, open your GoHighLevel sub-account.

Make sure you are inside the location view, not the agency view.

You can find your Location ID in two ways.

The first way is from the browser URL.

When you are inside your sub-account, your URL will contain something like:

https://app.gohighlevel.com/v2/location/YOUR_LOCATION_ID/...

You can also find it from:

Settings → Business Profile → General Information

Copy the Location ID.

2. Your Private Integration Token

Next, create a Private Integration in your GoHighLevel sub-account.

Go to:

Settings → Private Integrations

Then create a new Private Integration.

You can name it something like:

Antigravity Integration

GoHighLevel lets you choose which permissions this integration has.

For example, you can give it read access to contacts, opportunities, and calendars.

If you want the project to create or update contacts and opportunities, you also need the related write permissions.

After you create the integration, GoHighLevel will give you a token.

It starts with:

pit-

Keep this token private.

Set up the starter

Once you have your two credentials, clone the project and install the dependencies.

git clone https://github.com/heyfhrony/gohighlevel-antigravity-starter.git
cd gohighlevel-antigravity-starter
npm install

Then create your .env file.

cp .env.example .env

Open the file and add your credentials:

GHL_TOKEN=pit-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
GHL_LOCATION_ID=your_subaccount_location_id

Now you can check if everything is connected.

npm run whoami

If everything is correct, you should see your sub-account information.

For example:

{
  "ok": true,
  "locationId": "your_subaccount_location_id",
  "locationName": "Your Business Name",
  "email": "contact@yourbusiness.com",
  "phone": "+15551234567",
  "timezone": "America/New_York"
}

If you see your account details, your connection is working.

Open the project in Google Antigravity

Now open the project folder in Google Antigravity.

The project already includes an AGENTS.md file.

This file gives the Antigravity AI agent information about how to work with the GoHighLevel client in the project.

Once your .env file is ready, you can simply open the chat in Antigravity and tell it what you want to do.

You do not need to write the API request yourself.

Just explain what you want.

For example:

“Show me my last 20 contacts.”

Or:

“Find all contacts with the tag VIP.”

Or:

“List my opportunities from the last 30 days.”

The AI can then use the tools and code in the project to work with your GoHighLevel account.

You can also use it without Antigravity

The project is not locked to Google Antigravity.

It is a Node.js project with a reusable GHLClient.

That means you can also use the client in your own JavaScript applications.

For example:

import { GHLClient } from './src/client.js';

const ghl = new GHLClient();

const contacts = await ghl.getRecentContacts({ count: 10 });

console.log(contacts);

You can use the same client to search contacts, create or update contacts, and make custom API requests.

So think of this project as both an Antigravity starter and a small GoHighLevel API client.

There is also a CLI

If you do not want to use Antigravity, you can also run commands directly from your terminal.

For example:

node src/index.js contacts:list --limit 20

Or:

node src/index.js contacts:recent --count 10

You can also create a contact:

node src/index.js contacts:create --first "John" --last "Doe" --email "john@example.com"

There are commands for contacts, pipelines, opportunities, calendars, tags, and custom fields.

Why I built this

GoHighLevel has a very powerful API.

But using an API directly can feel difficult if you are not a developer.

At the same time, AI coding tools like Google Antigravity make it much easier to work with code.

So I wanted to put these two things together.

Instead of manually writing API requests every time, you can give instructions in plain English and let the AI work with the GoHighLevel client.

It also gives developers a simple starting point.

You can clone the project, connect one sub-account, and start building your own tools around GoHighLevel.

What can you build from here?

This starter is only the beginning.

Once the basic connection works, you can build much more on top of it.

For example:

  • Sync leads from CSV files
  • Build custom CRM reports
  • Create internal tools for your team
  • Move data between systems
  • Build custom GoHighLevel workflows
  • Create scripts for repetitive tasks
  • Connect GoHighLevel with other APIs
  • Build your own AI-powered CRM tools

The important part is that you now have a working connection between your GoHighLevel sub-account and your code.

From there, you can build almost anything that the GoHighLevel API allows.

A note about permissions

Your Private Integration Token controls what the project can do.

If you only give it read permissions, it can read your data but cannot make certain changes.

If you want to create or update contacts, for example, you need the correct write permissions.

You may also see errors if your token is invalid or if it does not have the required permission.

A 401 error usually means the token is invalid.

A 403 error usually means the token does not have the required permission.

So start with the permissions you actually need.

Final thoughts

GoHighLevel is already a powerful platform.

Adding an AI coding agent on top of it opens another way to work with your account.

You can use the normal GoHighLevel interface when you want.

But for repetitive tasks, data work, custom scripts, and building your own tools, you can simply tell Antigravity what you want.

That is the idea behind this starter.

GoHighLevel handles your CRM.

Antigravity helps you work with it.

And the code connects the two.

If you want to try it, you can clone the starter project and connect your own GoHighLevel sub-account.
